2025 Kia EV6 Trim & Package Breakdown: Choosing the Right Fit for You

The 2025 Kia EV6 is set to arrive in Spring 2025, bringing a refined design, enhanced technology, and improved accessibility to fast charging. Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy ensures a balance between futuristic aesthetics and practicality, with a sleeker front end, new side moldings, and updated wheel options. The latest iteration of Kia’s Star Map lighting signature completes the striking visual package.

Beyond its exterior appeal, the new EV6 introduces key technological advancements, including over-the-air (OTA) updates for software and powertrain improvements, as well as enhanced parking assistance features. Available in three trims—Light RWD, Wind RWD, and Land AWD—each offers a unique combination of performance, features, and value. For those opting for the Land AWD trim, three additional packages—Premium, GT-Line, and GT-Line Limited—further refine the experience.

Light RWD: Entry-Level Efficiency with Essential Features

The Light RWD trim is the most accessible variant, featuring a 63 kWh battery and a rear-wheel-drive system. While it offers a lower entry price, it doesn’t skimp on essential technology and comfort. The 12.3-inch curved navigation display, Smart Cruise Control 2, and OTA update capability provide a modern driving experience. Safety remains a priority with nine airbags, including a driver knee airbag, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision avoidance assist.

On the exterior, the Light RWD trim rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and features Kia’s new full dual LED headlights. Black glossy beltline accents, heated side mirrors, and a power-folding function add convenience. Inside, a mix of cloth and artificial leather seats ensures durability and comfort. Heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a spacious cargo area with 60:40 split-folding rear seats enhance everyday practicality.

Wind RWD: Extended Range and Upgraded Comfort

For those seeking longer range and additional features, the Wind RWD trim builds upon the Light RWD’s foundation. With an upgraded 84 kWh battery, this model provides more efficiency for extended driving distances. It also includes a heat pump, which optimizes winter efficiency, and increases towing capacity to 1,653 lbs.

Visually, the Wind RWD shares the Light’s sleek design but adds privacy-tinted rear glass and solar-laminated windshield protection. Inside, the biggest upgrades include a power driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, and additional lumbar support for both front passengers. The Wind RWD also introduces wireless charging, an ECM rearview mirror with HomeLink, and an advanced driver monitoring system.

Land AWD: Versatility and Performance with Package Options

The Land AWD trim enhances capability with dual motors and all-wheel drive, making it a solid choice for those who need extra traction and power. It shares the Wind RWD’s 84 kWh battery but increases towing capacity to 2,700 lbs. Standard features include a 12.3-inch infotainment display, Smart Cruise Control 2, and a host of advanced driver-assistance systems.

The Land AWD trim also unlocks three premium upgrade packages:

  • Premium Package: Upgrades to 20-inch wheels, a smart power tailgate, memory driver seat, and additional driver assistance features like Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.

  • GT-Line Package: Introduces a sportier design with GT-Line exclusive black suede seating, a wide sunroof, and dynamic welcoming lighting. Additional safety enhancements include Parking Distance Warning-Side.

  • GT-Line Limited Package: The top-tier experience, featuring ventilated front seats, a head-up display, a Meridian premium audio system, and exclusive GT-Line artificial leather seating.

Each trim and package offers a unique balance of efficiency, technology, and premium features. The 2025 Kia EV6 will be available in Spring 2025. To learn more and stay updated on availability, visit Cranbrook Kia.
